SaeboStep
Known as foot drop, this disorder is often a result of neurological or orthopedic trauma, resulting in decreased coordination of the lower extremities. The result is a drop foot, which can lead to painful and unnatural compensatory movements, including bending the knees to raise the foot higher than usual. The SaeboStep drop foot brace prevents foot drop by preventing spasticity and strengthening affected muscle groups. These braces can help individuals recover their motor function after neurological disorders or orthopedic injuries.

Dynamic Ankle Foot Orthosis
A custom orthosis or brace, such as the Dynamic Ankle Foot Orthosis (DAFO), is used to correct a drop foot. This type of orthosis has flexible hinges to allow normal movement of the leg, including walking and running. They also have a plantar stop, which prevents the foot from moving beyond a preset stop. These devices can also raise or lower the foot to correct calf muscle spasms.
